Financial Assistance

Financial assistance, in the form of discounted registration fee OR hostel accommodation are available to selected overseas participants. To benefit more participants with the limited funds allocated for this purpose, applicants can only choose ONE category for assistance.

Categories

A) Reduced Registration Fee

• For students, at SGD 300 per person (student pass will be requested for verification)
• For non-students, at SGD 550 per person

B) 6-nites Complimentary Hostel Accommodation at Temasek Hall
(Includes daily breakfast and transport to the conference venue)

Conditions for Application

• Applicable for OVERSEAS participants only (Participants based in Singapore do not qualify)
• Applicants MUST have submitted an abstract to the conference.
• Applicants can only select ONE (01) category of assistance, multiple applications by the same applicant will be rejected
• Applicants must submit the complete information requested, incomplete applications will not be considered
• Application must be submitted by 12 noon on 31 March 2009 (Singapore time +GMT08:00 hrs)
• Applications will be reviewed and notification of acceptance will be made known by email by 9 April 2009
• Successful applicants are to confirm their participation by 30 April 2009 (extended from 23 April 2009), and payments of registration fee must be completed by then, otherwise offer will lapse.
