Panel Discussion: Entrepreneurship in Material Science and Engineering
Entrepreneurship in Science and Engineering is related to the formation of spin-off companies which commercialize scientific results. In this context, the formation of spin-off companies by scientists themselves is becoming ever more important. In order to inspire ICMAT 2009 participants to pursue entrepreneurial activities by showcasing some successful examples of scientist-entrepreneurs and providing a forum for information and discussion, a panel discussion on "Entrepreneurship in Material Science and Engineering" will be held on Thursday, 2 July, 2009, together with ICMAT 2009.
